audubon park-downriver audubon fall

Just a few minutes NW (following the path of the Spokane River) of Downtown Spokane you will find the charming and lively Audubon/Downriver Area. In it you will find homes largely built in the early 1900’s to the 40’s (some say “a South Hill feel without the South Hill price”).

The neighborhood is considered the gateway to Riverside State Park as it borders the Southeast corner of this Spokane gem.

Also, you will find many places to shop, eat and play such as The Downriver Grill, Flying Goat, Little Garden Café, Polka Dot Pottery, Judy’s Enchanted Garden, River Ridge Hardware (neighbors would argue the best hardware store in Spokane), Audubon Park (known for its annual summer “Concerts Under the Pines” series), Downriver Golf Course, Dwight Merkel Sports Complex and many other places to check out.
